What is this webinar about?
The purpose of the webinar is to revisit the notion of ‘Decentring ELT’, raise awareness of decentring principles and practices, identify and analyse examples of Decentring ELT and their implication in teacher education in Latin America and the Caribbean, and continue reflection on the concept of decentring ELT.
We will hear from different teacher associations in Latin America and the Caribbean, looking at what they are doing in relation to decentring principles and practices.
Participants: ParaTESOL (Paraguay), Exploratory Practice Grupo Rio (Brazil), FAAPI and Argentina TESOL (Argentina), HELTA (Honduras), RICELT (Chile), Panama TESOL (Panama), Nicaragua, Universidad de El Salvador (El Salvador), and Venezuela.

Decentring: Brazil In the Brazilian team, experienced researchers, pre-service teachers, and schoolteachers are participating in this project.
